This option may be used for initial product installation by specifying all required components to install as well as for adding specified components to an already existing installation. Examples: 1) install Plesk 12.5.30 (example is shortened): --select-product-id plesk \ --select-release-id PLESK_12_5_30 \ --install-component panel \ --install-component phpgroup \ --install-component web-hosting ... 2) add Tomcat Java support to installed Plesk: --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current \ --install-component java --set-option = Change a setting for a product component. To view a list of all available settings, use the option --show-options. Product and components removal options: --remove-component Removes the product component with the specified identifier. Examples: 1) install latest updates for installed Plesk version: --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current \ --upgrade-installed-components 2) upgrade to Plesk 12.5.30 from a previous version: --select-product-id plesk \ --select-release-id PLESK_12_5_30 \ --upgrade-installed-components --reinstall-patch Force patch reinstallation for all selected products when updating them. Example (reinstall latest patch version for Plesk): --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current \ --upgrade-installed-components --reinstall-patch --ignore-key-errors Allow product upgrade even if license key is not upgradable. Options for selecting a product and its version: --select-product-id Select the product by specifying its identifier. To see the list of all supported product identifiers, use the --show-all-releases option. This option is order-sensitive. If present, it must be specified before any of the corresponding --select-release-id, --select-release-latest or --select-release-current options. --select-release-id Use this option to specify the product version that you want to install or whose properties you want to view. --select-release-latest Select the latest product version available for your operating system with the selected release tiers. --select-release-current Select the same product version as the one installed on your server. --tier Restrict available product versions to the latest ones that belong to the selected release tiers. You can specify multiple tiers by separating them with a comma. For example: --tier stable, release, testing --all-versions Do not filter available product versions by tiers they belong to. Starting from Plesk Installer 3.11, every product version is associated with one or several release tiers. By default, only the latest versions from the "stable, release, current" tiers as well as the currently installed product version are shown. You can use this option to work with the Installer disregarding the release tiers scheme. Options for listing entities available at installation source: --show-releases Specify this option to retrieve a list of available product versions for the operating system where the Plesk Installer is executed. You will be given a list of release identifiers, descriptions, and their tiers. A product identifier from the first column may be used as an argument to the --select-product-id option. A release identifier from the second column may be used as an argument to the --select-release-id option. Release tiers may be used as an argument to the --tier option. --show-all-releases This option shows all product versions available from the installation source. Output format is the same as for the --show-releases option. --show-os-list Use this option to find out on which operating systems the product version you selected can run. --show-installation-types Show names of predefined sets of components for the selected product version. --show-components Use this option to obtain the information on the components available for the selected product version. Component names, installation status, and descriptions will be displayed. You need to specify component names when selecting components with the --install-component or --remove-component options. --show-options This option can be used only with the --show-components option. Use it if you want to view available installation settings. --show-packages Do not actually perform components installation, removal, update or upgrade. Instead show packages that will be installed, updated or removed, marked with [I], [U], and [R] respectively. Feedback control options: --enable-feedback Start automatic submission of reports about issues occurred during Plesk installation and upgrade, and other issues with Plesk. Important: This option applies to all further operations with Plesk. --disable-feedback Stop automatic submission of reports about Plesk installation, upgrade, and other problems to Plesk. Important: This option applies to all further operations with Plesk. Download options: --source Installation source: a mirror URL or an absolute path to a directory containing top-level products.inf3 file. Sample values: http://autoinstall.plesk.com/ /root/parallels/ http://autoinstall-win.plesk.com/ C:\ParallelsInstaller\parallels --target Directory to store temporary downloaded files. Options to suppress warnings: --no-space-check Install packages even if you are low on disk space. --skip-components-check Do not run any environment state validation scripts, including product pre-upgrade check-up that checks for possible issues that may arise after upgrading. This option is intended to be used in unattended Plesk Installer mode and is not recommended for use in other modes. Options for interaction with other software and automating updates: --enable-xml-output Specify this option to have all output of Plesk Installer in XML format. Note that this option disallows Plesk Installer to report errors by exit code. Exit code is always zero and all errors are reported inside XML output. --query-status Use this option to find out if Plesk Installer is active. This will return either an exit code (0 - Plesk Installer is idle, 1 - Plesk Installer is running and busy), or XML-formatted output. --check-updates Specify this option to check the installation source for updates applicable to your product version. A list of releases that you can update or upgrade to will be shown. Example: --select-product-id plesk --check-updates --no-daemon Perform installation process in the foreground. Web interface options: --web-interface Opens the web-based installation wizard in a web browser. --ssl-cert Specifies the path to the SSL certificate file that should be used for securing connections. --without-ssl Specifies that connections to the web-based installation wizard will not be secured. If you want to mirror product versions for different operating systems, you should specify this option per each operating system. Consider using instead the Plesk Mirror Setup Tool available at https://kb.plesk.com/113337 . --add-source Specify an additional source of packages. You can specify either of the following source types: repodata, directory. This option is obsolete. Additional repositories should be set up using system package manager (apt or yum). --show-additional-source-types Show possible source types for --add-source. --show-additional-sources Show the additional sources you configured. --disable-major-updates Block the installation of major updates in batch mode. Only patches may be installed if this option is on. This option is switched off by default. Patch-only updates are not recommended as they may result in product bugs and instability, as well as present security risk due to prohibiting installation of important updates. --allow-kernel-install Allow kernel upgrade. By default, Plesk Installer does not make any kernel upgrades. Note that Plesk Installer installs new kernels to the system, leaving the older kernel aside so that you can revert to it at any time. Modern Plesk versions do not require kernel updates. --install-system-only Install only system packages required for product installation. Do not install product packages. Product packages will always be installed for modern Plesk versions. Logging control options: --notify-email Email address to send reports to after Plesk Installer completes a task. --truncate-log Clear the log file on each Plesk Installer startup. --separate-log Use a new log file on each Plesk Installer startup. --debug Maximize log file verbosity.
